Robe estivale faite main pour Kiki ou Monchhichi

Summer is still far away, but you have to think about it already. First of all because it feels good to imagine basking in the sun, but in addition you need to have a suitable wardrobe, to look good on the beach. So after her Valentine's Day dress, here the next one.

L'été est encore loin, mais il faut déjà y penser. D'abord parce que ça fait du bien de s'imaginer lézarder au soleil, mais en plus il faut avoir une garde-robe adaptée, pour faire sa belle sur la plage. Alors après la robe de la Saint-Valentin voici la suivante.

So after drawing a new pattern, we fall for a white floral fabric perfect for the season, and after cutting the pieces, we build, make the necessary adjustments, and there is only the sewing machine step, to get this dress! Just have little pink buttons to match the knot of her pig tails and Diana can put on her new outfit!

Alors après avoir dessiné un nouveau patron, on craque pour un tissu blanc fleuri parfait pour la saison, et après avoir découper les pièces, on bâti, fait les ajustement nécessaires, et il n'y a plus que l'étape machine à coudre, pour obtenir cette robe ! Reste juste des petits boutons roses pour assortir au noeud de ses couettes et Diana peut enfiler sa nouvelle tenue !

Here is the Miss seen from the back. We will have to wait a little longer before being able to enjoy her new dress, but the main thing is to have it!

I think that like Diana and I are looking forward to the return of sunny days, especially since we have a very windy and rainy winter here. That's why on the blog, there are less photos of our walks: we go out but no way to make them stand up, or else it's too wet or full of slush (and yes the walks of Onyx in the forest) to put them on the ground.

Voici la Miss vue de dos. Il va falloir lui patienter encore un peu avant de pouvoir profiter de sa nouvelle robe, mais le principal c'est de l'avoir sous la main !

Je pense que tout comme Diana et moi vous avez hâte au retour des beaux jours, d'autant qu'ici nous avons un hiver très venteux et très pluvieux. C'est pour ça que sur le blog, il y a moins de photos de nos balades : on sort mais pas moyen de les faire tenir debout, ou alors c'est trop mouillé ou plein de gadoue (et oui les promenades d'Onyx dans la forêt) pour les poser au sol.
