Le visuel incontournable pour fêter Halloween, c'est la citrouille bien sûr. Je dirais même plus, reprenant les termes de notre Ludovic "une citrouille qui fout la trouille" ! Mais je viens de faire deux pulls, l'un pour Ludovic justement... enfin pas tout à fait mais vu qu'il l'a emprunté à long terme, ça revient un peu au même... et un autre modèle pour Bubbles qui du coup n'en avait plus. Cette fois, on laisse tomber les citrouilles et on cherche un autre personnage type d'Halloween...

But I have just made two sweaters, one for Ludovic precisely ... well not quite but since he borrowed it long term, it comes back a bit to the same ... and another model for Bubbles which suddenly had none. This time, we drop the pumpkins and look for another typical Halloween character ...

Un personnage qui a la réputation de porter malheur... le chat noir ! Enfin selon la légende, parce que j'en avais un et il ne portait pas malheur du tout, au contraire il était adorable ! Enfin bon, on va jouer le jeu et faire un chat noir de dos, sur un fond orange pour que ça tranche bien ! Les couleurs d'Halloween quoi !

C'est toujours amusant d'avoir un thème à illustrer quand on doit tricoter, il faut chercher des idées, réalisables en petites tailles car sur un pull de Monchhichi, nous n'avons pas tellement de surface, le dessiner, et finalement le tricoter. Et je peux vous dire que c'est vraiment sympa de voir notre modèle prendre forme et être porté par un si beau mannequin que mon Bubbles !

It's always fun to have a theme to illustrate when you have to knit, you have to look for ideas, achievable in small sizes because on a Monchhichi sweater, we don't have that much surface area, draw it, and finally knit it . And I can tell you that it's really nice to see our model take shape and be worn by such a beautiful model as my Bubbles!
