April 1st is a date still eagerly awaited by children and budding jokers!

Bubbles also wanted to be ready for this special day.

Le premier avril est une date toujours très attendue par les enfants et les blagueurs en herbe !

Bubbles voulait être lui aussi prêt pour ce jour particulier.

He needed a new sweater, and the choice of pattern was obvious: a fish! What a surprise !

A turquoise background to evoke the sea, some waves with white foam and my fish! I chose to make the patterns in white, to avoid overloading this little sweater, and this color stands out perfectly from the background which is quite lively.

Il lui fallait un nouveau pull, et le choix du motif était évident : un poisson ! Quelle surprise !

Un fond turquoise pour évoquer la mer, quelques vagues avec de l'écume blanche et mon poisson ! J'ai choisi de faire les motifs en blanc, pour éviter de surcharger ce petit pull, et cette couleur se détache parfaitement du fond qui est assez vif.

The jokes of April 1, fish stuck in the back to numerous jokes including in the press originate from the modification of the calendar by Charles IX in 1564: he made the decision that the first day of the year would be January 1 and no longer on April 1st. The lack of means of communication sowed confusion between those who knew about it and those who continued to celebrate the New Year in April ... the stuffing turkeys!

I don't know if his sweater will be enough for Bubbles to escape the fish stuck on the back!?!

Les blagues du premier avril, du poisson collé dans le dos aux innombrables canulars y compris dans la presse ont pour origine la modification du calendrier par Charles IX en 1564 : il prit la décision que le premier jour de l'année serait le 1er janvier et non plus le premier avril. Le manque de moyens de communication sema la confusion entre ceux qui étaient au courant et ceux qui continuaient de fêter le nouvel an en avril... les dindons de la farce !

Je ne sais pas si son pull suffira a Bubbles d'échapper au poisson collé dans le dos !?!
